David Beckmann, president of Bread for the World said in preparation for the G-20 Faith Leaders Summit, Sept. 22-23. It will precede the Group of 20 (G-20) Summit in Pittsburgh. Organized by Bread for the World, the Alliance to End Hunger, and other partners, more than 25 national religious leaders representing the Christian, Muslim and Jewish faiths will attend. Together, they will press for actions—not just words—that will help hungry and poor people to lift themselves out of poverty.
